CBD and Your Body

Updated: Oct 11, 2021

CBD, or Cannabidiol, is a compound found in the flower and leaves of the hemp plant. It's one of many powerful phytocannabinoids found in hemp, and is known for supporting Endocannabinoid System.

The Endocannabinoid System is a network of receptors present throughout the body: in the brain, organs, tissues, glands, and immune cells. Your body is constantly producing it's own cannabinoids, and these molecules function a lot like all the cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. Its purpose is to help us stay balanced, even when challenged by external factors and certain lifestyle choices.

Researchers are now proposing that many underlying causes of ailments such as migraine, fibromyalgia, irritable bowl syndrome, and more may stem from a Clinical Endocannabinoid Deficiency. If your body is unable to produce enough cannabinoids, after time illnesses are a result of inflammation induced free radicals. Supplementing the body's cannabinoids using CBD could be a benefit  to minimizing age related illnesses like cancer and cardiovascular disease without the altered state of mind.
